Gaetz introduced the PENCIL resolution -- Preventing Extreme Negligence with Classified Information Licenses -- that would strip Schiff of his access to any and all classified documents.

He's shooting to very publicly humiliate Schiff. Nothing more.

On a slight tangent, the Schiff thing SHOULD go somewhere in a normal world. This jackass, who has access to our most protected intelligence, and who is a known bucketmouth and leaker, also has tiktok on his phone.

One thing to note:  Resolutions are not the same thing as legislation.  Resolutions do not become law unless they are reintroduced as legislation at a later date.  Resolutions are more a "sense of Congress" thing.

But, if I'm not mistaken, if the resolution WERE to be passed by the House, the House could act on it my not sharing any classified information with Schiff, correct?

Resolution filed to expel Schiff

Florida Rep. Ana Paulina Luna filed a resolution on Wednesday evening to expel Rep. Adam Schiff, formerly the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, from Congress alleging that he pushed a false narrative to the American people in the Trump-Russia investigation.

"Adam Schiff lied to the American people. He used his position on House Intelligence to push a lie that cost American taxpayers millions of dollars and abused the trust placed in him as Chairman. He is a dishonor to the House of Representatives," Luna said in a press release Wednesday, May 17.
