Kind of a quirky video, but it mentions the Dodo bird was basically killed off due to predators (dogs, rats, etc) introduced to the island they were on along with traders clear cutting the hardwood trees. 

I don't recall ever bothering to look into this.  When I was a kid, I am thinking we were told the Dodo went extinct because we hunted it for feathers and killed them all.  What the video describes makes more sense.  I don't remember being told they were all on one island, but maybe.  Have any of you heard more information on this?

I recall hearing that it went extinct because of dog, pigs, and humans combined.

Same with the Giant Moa.
