President's trip to Kiev, re: security
« on: February 20, 2023, 08:05:33 PM »
I just saw the news about his trip to Ukraine which included a 10 hour train ride from Poland to Kiev.  Any idea how they provided security for such a trip?  Air cover? Troops on the ground?  Seems like a lot of vulnerability considering they even secure the roads he travels on in this country.

Might not be too far from the truth - I heard there was US air cover established over western Ukraine for the duration of his visit, including fighters and at least one AWACS.

Apparently Russia was notified of his visit and they held off their missile barrages.

Have him move to Donetsk on a permanent basis - declare the war over.

Sounds like a win/win/win solution, all three countries.
