Considering Vallas and Johnson, Chicagoans should be afraid.
Johnson is an avowed marxist and Vallas is too closely aligned with the Chicago Teachers Union.  the CTU was one of the biggest supporters/instigators for the recently passed "Amendment 1" that gives union bosses more power that the state legislature.

Chicago chose the latter - again.

I no longer feel sorry for the people who live there, and I thank my lucky stars I left for good decades ago.
