Came in the office this morning to find a big box of bags of various flavors of popcorn.

Grabbed a bag, opened it, and was slightly horrified. It's a combination of kettle corn and cheddar mixed together in the same bag.

No way in hell should that flavor combination work. But, somehow, oddly, it does. It's not quite brilliant together, but crap, not bad at all.

I tried the same combo not too long ago. Just as surprised as you.

Now if they would just make a spam/cream cheese/bread&butter pickle combo...

I am fond of dill pickle slices on burritos.

And tortilla chips with vanilla ice cream.

Related to the OP is Cretor's popcorn: a mix of caramel and cheddar cheese popcorn.  We tried it once at a party and are now fans.  We can get it at Costco. The cheddar cheese component is the best cheese popcorn I have tried.

The party at which we tried it was hosted by a guy from Chicago, and he mentioned the popcorn.  He sends tins of it out as Christmas gifts from a company in Chicago.

Make sure to mix the bag up, the caramel popcorn settles to the bottom.

This morning, PinkPigParts was eating Donut Gems Powdered Sugar mini donuts and Nacho Cheese Doritos together and proclaimed it "pretty darn good!"
