That CNN article is actually pretty accurate.  There hasn't been much more on the local TV newscasts than that.  As expected, some details are being withheld for legal reasons.

It is at least good to see the deputy in the other county just did a welfare check and didn't blindly do whatever this other sheriff asked. 

Would the false statements to the dispatcher be the same as making a false 911 call?
