Major necro.

Somehow I missed this when it first came out and only just now watched it.

Wow. I had expected it to be goofy because of the first vignette with Buster Scruggs, but the other five are just sadly marvelous. Really great actors, and All Gold Canyon, with Tom Waits, who I only knew as a musician, was just really good as the least dark of the dark vignettes. The face of the Orator in Meal Ticket when he wasn't orating was just sad and haunting.

If you've never seen this, I recommend it. Currently available on Netflix.

I still haven't seen it, but when Perd's dad recommends a movie or TV show - that's pretty rare. I think the last movie he recommended to me was The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly.
