101 is a good run.  I’ll be happy to make it to 81.

Can’t be too many WWII combat vets still alive.  If you lied about your age to serve and were 16 in 1945, you’d be 94 today.

Can't be too many Pearl Harbor veterans left, either.

I remember news stories for:

The last American veteran of the Spanish American War and the last veteran of World War I.

When I worked at Navy Federal CU in the 1990s there was a guy there, REALLY old but still spry as hell and working, who was a veteran of the Banana Wars, World War II, and Korea.
