Not much info on that missile and some of it conflicts but it's a big SOB so a nuke on top wouldn't be out of the question in the future depending if Iran can get one down to that size any time soon. Most early nukes tend to be huge.
Comes in fast so extremely hard to intercept but like most hyper sonic missiles it's really an area weapon but put a nuke on top and that won't matter so much.

I don't think we will get that but I would not be surprised to learn in the coming days that Iran's nuke program has been set back to the stone throwing phase.

So I don't know anything about ballistic missiles, but I thought they typically had boost, coast, and terminal phases.  Are these visible at night just because they're moving so quickly through the air that they're glowing, or is that rocket exhaust from an additional terminal boost phase?

Some "Ballistic" missiles have powered, or unpowered but steerable, warheads to avoid air defenses in the terminal stage.  They are also going fast enough that they can glow, or ignite the air around them.

You could be seeing either of those, or both on the video out of Tel Aviv.

But what I can't find is any convincing, credible third-party analysis saying that Iran does, in fact, have a hypersonic capability.

But, given how entirely truthful and credible Iran is when talking about a multitude of subjects, I guess it's true...  :O

Reported two Israelis civilians hurt by shrapnel. Also saw a report several Iranians were killed and injured when a missile launch malfunctioned.

Fattah-1 is a hypersonic Ballistic missile.  There's plenty of evidence.  Here's an assessment from last year: https://missiledefenseadvocacy.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/Iran-Hypersonicc-missile-limited-distribution-7.6.2023-1-1.pdf

The Fattah-2, which is claimed to be a Hypersonic cruise missile is more of an open question.

Of course they also fired a couple variants of the Shahab, their RV's are hypersonic as well, unless they are doing a lot of maneuvering.  Pretty much anything dropped from space is hypersonic.
