New Movie coming out: "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare"

This trailer was offered to me by the YouTube algorithm this morning.

Guy Ritchie film, has Henry Cavil and Alan Ritchson (of Amazon's Reacher), in a flick loosely (very loosely) based on the SOE during WWII.

Looks like it could be fun.  I tend to like Ritchie's films, and enjoy Cavil's acting.

I feel like this movie should be approached with the understanding that it's based on the SOE in the same way Snatch is based on Gypsy culture and the international diamond trade.

I heard Henry Cavil is only in the movie a few minutes.  But I think I am getting what I heard of that movie confused with reviews of Argylle so I don't know.  Hope it is decent.

The previews make it look like he's pretty integral.

From the trailer I saw, it looks like a weird English mashup of Inglourious Basterds and The Wackiest Ship in the Army with a little bit of Monty Python thrown in.

Might be fun.
