So, Britain's Labor party is looking like they're going to have a pretty good election. But they're doubling down on trying to solidify votes. And how they're doing it is a real head scratcher.
Remember, the Labor party is the party that, after WW II, created the modern British welfare state, a large part of which was nationalization of many industries, including rail, steel, and most infamously, coal mining, which led to severe home heating and electrical supply shortages during the vicious winter of 1946-47...
Anyway, this time around, they're pledging a policy of "wealth creation" and "pro-business" by:
1. Creating a new public-owned energy company.
2. BANNING new North Sea oil and gas leases
3. Renationalizing passenger rail service.
How in the flying three-fish finger flying *expletive deleted*ck is any of that pro business or focusing on wealth creation?
Socialism is a goddamned mental disease, a form of severe insanity.
