It's the steeple of a distant church.

Trump won in 2016. And again in 2024. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.

What makes this a meme?

It's a meme (in the internet sense) because it takes an image or video (or sometimes just a slogan) that's already floating around in the popular culture, and repurposes it to say something else.

Also, it's flippin' hilarious.
Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God?
--Thomas Jefferson

Another way of looking at DEI is that it deliberately builds stupidity/incompetence into the system.  That sort of happens when competence is not at the top of the list.  After a while, DEI hires are hiring more DEI hires so the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation DEI hires are far worse than the first.  There most certainly are some competent people hired under DEI rules, but odds are they won't be the ones getting promoted or doing the hiring in the future.

And thus, the movie "Idiocracy" was born.   [barf]
