I was watching and he grabbed the right side of his head as though grazed near his ear. Very little reporting other than suppositions right now. It is still too early to make a lot of factual statements.

1. Shots fired, hand to right side of head

2. He ducked to the stage

3 Swarmed by Secret Service

4, Removed from stage

5. Pumped fist as getting into SUV

6. Driven away.

30 minutes post shooting

It looks like the shooter was at stage right. Trump's head was turned so that he was looking in that direction, and the shots passed by the right side of his head. So the shot passed between Trump's head, and the people behind him. Obviously, at least one of those bullets was close enough to draw blood.

Holy hell! I'm glad he appears to be alright. We were just talking here about the nutjobs going suicide bomber or similar with all the "dictator Trump" disinformation out there - by the people who scream "disinformation" the loudest.

I can't believe this would be anyone on the right or even center or even mainstream left. I will say that people like the squad hold a good portion of blame for this because of their rhetoric and promoting their doomsday crap.

The extremism of the Democrat Party is NOT just a few radicals in Congress. The same extremist ideas are all over the corporate media. They're pushing the idea that Donald Trump is "an existential threat to our democracy," and will destroy "our very way of life," and end elections, and turn our government into some radically different thing.

I don't disagree with you. I meant that they're not the ones who would pull the trigger - I would expect someone with a "trans day of vengeance" mindset to do the act. As I (perhaps unclearly) alluded to is that they're the instigators. The harridans on The View might not perform the physical violence, but they have certainly constantly used language to fire up an unbalanced person.

Checking the MSM just now, there's a lot of "incident" and "popping noises" headlines. You can't tell me that if it were Biden, MSNBC wouldn't be saying "assassination attempt" and "gunshots" instead of "popping noises".
