I just perused reddit, and am cracking up because the weirdos there are all saying that this news put Trump and Republicans in panic mode.

MSNBC is saying GOP women will now vote for Harris

How long before the first opinion pieces that if President Biden can't handle the stress of an election campaign, is he fit to continue running the country until January?  If he really wanted to help VP Harris, he would resign now, she ascends to the Presidency and can run as an incumbent.

Him resigning now would also moot any issues with states that, legally, can't replace Biden on the ballots.

Clintons endorse Harris, Obamas do not. I wonder what job Hillary expects in a Harris admin?  =)

Not fishy when there's an over abundance of ineptitude

Previously thought they were going to replace Biden with Newsome, now that the Trump campaign is going really strongly I think they are going to throw away Kamala. This makes it so they can’t say they didn’t give her a shot and gets her out of the picture so she’s not in the way in 2028.

Perdicrions for 2028? Newsome/Whitmire combination.

They won't drop Harris, even though she's less popular than Brandon. 'Crats know how to play the long game and will run her as a sacrificial lamb, so as to secure the black female vote for the next 20 years.

And at this point, since it will be Trump's second elected term if he wins, the Ds know they're only looking at a 4-year wait, not potentially 8 years. And, although Trump wasn't bad for the economy, the reality is that he didn't deliver on some issues that were (allegedly) important to his MAGA base, such as securing the southern border, interstate concealed reciprocity, and a few other issues like that.

Do you think they will tell Biden over ice cream that he has dropped out?

Does anyone know what happens to the money donated to him with a voluntary drop out?

Obama is in charge.
He will pick the candidate. Classic Chicago politics. Selection not election.
Pelosi, shumer, Jeffries none of them have endorsed Harris yet.
What we have here is failure to communicate.

Got to love TDM sometimes

Quote
Kamala Harris's rambling 'word salad' speeches may be a symptom of a little-known but common psychological condition called logorrhoea — also known as verbal diarrhoea.

Okay this is off to a good start

Quote
But while it can be a symptom of anxiety or over-confidence, logorrhoea can be no laughing matter — and may indicate a brain injury, autism or serious condition.

In a 2009 study of the condition in Spain, it was found that age and sex played no part in the prevalence of logorrhoea, but the level of schooling did.

Those with lower educational achievement were more likely to 'speak in circles'.

Logorrhoea is also associated with laughing wildly at random moments, something Ms Harris has become known for, with Donald Trump even nicknaming her 'Laughin' Kamala'.

Maybe we need to start a "Harris showing more symptoms" thread  :P

Is Kamala Harris' mental health shaky? The presidential hopeful's 'word salads' and inappropriate laughter could be symptoms of a little-known psychological disorder

Allegedly on Saturday there was a phone meeting with major Dem party donors. Apparently Kamala was front and center, and the results were NOT good. There's allegedly as much angst with Kamala as there was with Biden, and supposedly many don't think that she can offer any way of beating Trump.

Right now I think the Dems, realistically, are writing off the office of the President and are hoping to hold onto Congress.

Tim Kaine sent out an e-mail this morning: "I AM PROUD TO BACK KAMALA HARRIS FOR PRESIDENT!"

Gerry the ahole Connolly sent out an e-mail extolling Joe Biden's selfless record of public service. I'm still waiting for that lump of *expletive deleted*it to decry the assassination attempt on Trump.
