I don't know about all the rules, but there are plenty of pics being posted of Biden at "section 60" or whatever it's called. I haven't read everything, but everything I have read says that Trump spent hours there with the families and didn't make any political speeches, other than talking to them about what a travesty it was.

I also heard an interview with a Green Beret who goes to that section every year with a bunch of his buddies to pay respects to their fallen brothers, and he said they're always taking photos when they are there. I would expect you could find a lot of pictures of past visits by politicians and private individuals who were there. I'm betting there are plenty of photos that have previously been used by other politicians that just didn't make it into the news cycle.

Hawkmoon, I think you're placing way too much trust in CNN, the Army brass, and other reliably left-wing, TDS-afflicted enemies of the people. We can count on such to spread vicious lies, and be martinets about any little rule that will be very carefully applied to Trump, but totally ignored for anyone else, especially Democrats.

On the day in question, Joe Biden was on vacation, Harris was AWOL, but Trump was willing to lay the wreath, at the request of family members. In a time when America has no president, Donald Trump had to fill in for an hour. He stepped up, and must now be punished for making the Vichy presidency of Biden/Harris look bad.

Agreed.  The families invited him, and while he took photos, there was no speechifying or politicing, his appearance was perfectly reasonable and, again, requested by the families of the fallen.

The Army should have kept their mouth shut on this one, especially how many pics of politicians in that part of Arlington a simple Google turns up.
