CNN reports of at least 4 dead, 30 injured (probably mostly injures incurred during the panic). Suspect in custody
CNN also reports Harris has been briefed. I feel safer already

4 dead, 9 in the hospital

Supposedly an image showing the weapon.
Article says "AR style" but I can't tell what I'm looking at. "AR style" could just mean it's black and looks mean.
But the more I look at it the more I see an outline of a Sub2000 but the imagine is so blurry it could be just be my imagination with the Nashville shooter back in the news.

Edit: Okay, now that's it's not 3am and I have coffee in me I'm back to I don't know what I'm seeing but maybe an AR

The gun used in Wednesday’s shooting was an AR-platform weapon, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation director. A law enforcement official told CNN earlier it was an AR-15-style rifle.

I am guessing that a parent owned it and the kid got it.

Quite right! Why riot now, when you can wait a few days and draw a MUCH larger crowd to riot [mostly] peacefully demonstrate? It's imporatant to allow sufficient time for the buses to bring in the supporters.
