Stumbled across one of her videos while surfing UToobz the other day.  Didn't realize she was making sandwiches.

I'm only watching for the sandwiches, since I'm not into OF 304s.

Which, now that I've watched a few of her shorts, I am being inundated in my youtube recommendations with scantily clad girls doing wholesome things and gee, they all have links to their OF page. Must be some new trend the OF girls are doing to get customers.

After I watched her attempt to make a Philly Cheesesteak (and no liverwurst on her feed) I decided I would just save my time and keep her from making money on my clicks, and figure out my own sandwiches.  ;)

Me being picky...

Why is it that these people who do videos on making sandwiches put like, 2-3 slices of deli meat, a slice or 2 of cheese, then pile on the lettuce,  tomatoes,  onions, pickles, etc.???  If I'm gonna have a corned beef on rye, pile on a stack of corned beef.  Turkey club?  Better have 4- ounces of turkey and at least 4-6 slices of bacon.

The girl from the OP?  I swear that one Sammy she made was a salad on bread.

Yes, I've been married 27 years.  I paid more attention to the food than the chick.

That sounds like our life, when my wife makes a sandwich she *may* put 3 or 4 slices of meat on it, two slices of cheese and call it good. Mine normally have a quarter to half a pound or so of meat and enough cheese that  know it is there. It is a meal, I want it to act like one! :)

Being a bachelor for the last 18 years, I paid more attention to the food as well.  The only one I watched was the "egg mcmuffin" assembly, but it was similar to the ones I make already.
Also, not a big fan of a lot of tats.

I've actually never cared all that much for a sandwich that's about a half pound of cold cuts on a bun made out of meat with meat-based lettuce, meat-based pickles, and meat-based tomatoes.

And with a light garnish of meat.

There are some that are supposed to be meat sandwiches  --cheese steak, for example -- but if I'm making a cold cut sammich at home, it's 2 slices of bread, 4 slices of Land O'Frost Honey Ham, MAYBE 2 slices of sharp cheddar, mayo, brown mustard, and if I'm in the mood for them, pickles. Generally I go for dill pickles, but occasionally I'll go bread and butter pickles.

Rarely have lettuce or tomatoes at home.

I used to pile a lot of meat on my sammitches until I realized how much sodium that entailed. Now I do about 4 slices.

Why don't you try a "multi-grain" bread?  I use a "12 grain" bread from Aldi's with their deli sliced cheese and those "1 lb. sliced meats" in the pouches.
After putting on various condiments (ketchup & "special" mustards, horseradish & mayo), I add a slices of cheese (extra sharp cheddar, colby/jack, Swiss, Muenster, or provolone) to both slices of bread, 3-4 slices of meat on each, then a 3rd slice of cheese.  I sometimes take sweet pickles (gherkins or midgets), slice them in half and put them on top of that stack.
There have been times when I was low on the meat and I would take a hard boiled egg and use one of those "wire slicers" and layer the egg slices between the middle and top cheese slices.

If you're old enough, you may remember the phrase "Dagwood sandwich".

Agreed.  2/10.  Insufficient meat.

I had a couple of sous vide chicken breasts I needed to use, and I didn't feel like cooking last night, so I made chicken salad.

Only I made this batch a bit differently...

Standard stuff, including pickle relish, but I added about half mayo and half blue cheese salad dressing with a good dose of hot sauce.

Buffalo Chicken Salad.

Holy *expletive deleted*it it was good!

I can buy bags of reasy to eat frozen shrimp at a local Gordon Food distributer.  I put 4 or 5 in a bowl and run hot water to soften and warm them.  I remove the tails, toast some bread, smear on some cheez wiz, add the shrimp, some pickled onions, mild banana rings and some spicy mustard.
