Absolutely perfect.

Thank you.

What's the gray shadow block number near the bottom of our profile pane?

Is that the number of posts we have?

Holy crap, it is...

Can you make the font on the "boomer" theme a little smaller?  It's too large, but the font on the normal theme is too small (because I'm a boomer :old:)  Or is there a way I can download/upload themes to have my own private one?  (it would be the same as the default theme but with the fonts about 2pt larger)

I might have used that "Boomer" one instead of Core as I am now, but yeah, "Boomer" theme should be renamed to "People who are blind as a bat and need a white cane" theme. The font is humongous.

Most browsers let you set the zoom on them and you can adjust it that way. We CAN adjust it but need to get a consensus of the users using it I would think.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only one using it, and I have to zoom out to 80% to make it usable.  Then that messes me up when I try to view APS on my phone.  I would change the global display settings on my PC, but every other site has large enough fonts with the current settings.

I'll probably just switch back to the default theme and zoom to 110% or 125% on devices where it's too small.

OTOH, a "blind as a bat" theme is not a bad thing to have if someone needs it :D  Macular degeneration or whatever.

Lemme see if I can track who is using that theme and we can go from there, OK?

@cordex, can you possibly query the user db and tell me how many users are using the "APS Boomers" theme?

I posted a poll here: https://armedpolitesociety.com/index.php?topic=70217.0

According to what I'm seeing on the set profile page when I look...

3904 users are using the Default/SMF Core theme

11 are using the Core theme (different name for the above?)

0 are using the Boomers theme

0 are using the Vogue theme

6 are using the Dark theme.

Yep, K Frame is correct.

No current Boomer users.  Well, plenty of Boomer users, but none using that theme.

The Core theme is the old APS style.  I liked it a little better than the newer SMF Core.

Agree. It's what I use. I'm guessing that the high use of SMF core is because when we updated, everyone was switched to that as the default?

Interestingly, when I tested the dark theme a couple of days ago, I saw that it's not only a different color scheme, but provides different information. For instance, when you go to Roundtable, it shows you who is currently online there. Until then, I had thought that themes were just different color/layout schemes, not that they also provide (or not) different information.

At the top click on Profile
On the left side click Look and Layout
Where it says Current Theme, click Change

Cordex: There are at LEAST 2 users of the Boomer theme so that is incorrect.

Those options are configurable to the admin, not at the user level.

The numbers are changing because people are trying out different themes because of this thread. Boomers is at 1 right now.

That is showing which users have custom theme options, not user count.

Go to your own theme change page to see the count.

Go to your user name in any thread (or anyone's user name). This is to the left of the message block in the Avatar area. In my message you'll see Seren as my Avatar.

Push your mouse up on the page until you get to the bar that has the Home Help Search Profile My Messages buttons.

Click the Profile button. This brings up your profile panel.

Above your Avatar  you'll see the word Summary. Right above that you'll see Profile Info Modify Profile and Actions.

Hover your mouse over Modify Profile, then drag your mouse down to Look and Layout. Click Look and Layout.

Right under the Profile Info Modify Profile and Actions bar you'll see Profile, then under that you'll see Current Theme.

To the right of Current Theme: you'll see the name of the them you're currently using and then (change)

Click change.

That will give you the list of themes and a thumbnail of what they look like.
