Basically, Sen. Elizabeth "Pocohontas" Warren wants Hegseth to answer dozens of her questions ahead of the confirmation hearings. Probably since she's grandstanding for the leftmost part of her base and knows she'll only have limited time to question him during the hearings.

Since the chances of Sen. Warren voting to approve Hegseth are virtually zero under ANY circumstances, IMHO he should not respond.

That's not a list of questions, that's an editorial.

I actually get the concern.  It's not like he's paying out of pocket, he's collecting money from people who are hoping to curry favor with him. 

If Hunter was running around collecting big checks from Chinese and Ukrainian businesses for his daddy's inauguration I'd be a little concerned.

I can't recall her name, but iirc there was a really maga type African American gal that Oz knocked out of the primary, made me angry

I don't like Oz, but even if Fetterman accidentally says some things I agree with I'm not about to start thinking he's a good, stable choice for the Senate either.  He is literally brain damaged, often nonsensical, and unable to comprehend what's going on around him without significant assistance.  He has no business in any government role.

I am not sure I would trust any news about it until I hear Trump is ordering it.  However, it seems to me that controlling the border and stopping illegal crossings would be a perfectly legitimate use of the military.  My main concern about that is that they should be used as military or maybe logistical support, not law enforcement.

I'm sure the Democrats had affidavits filled out, sworn, signed, and notarized long ago. They just had to wait for Trump's appointments so they'd know who the guilty party was and could fill in his name.
