I suppose it could be said that the free availability of porn lessens the likelihood of "external" sexual aggressions.  That is, if you keep the idea apart from any questions of religion-based morality. Which is not possible for many commentators on the subject.

In Colorado a lot of blue laws have been removed from the books in fairly recent years, fom car sales and liquor sales on Sundays, to, most recently, allowing  supermarkets to sell beer (and I think wine, but as a non-drinker I don't pay that much attention to it.)

I would also like to see private citizens allowed to buy and sell guns on Sundays without any abridgement.  Food for thought, no?

And Tina Louise was (nominally) a redhead as well.

Can't buy a gun on Sunday where you're at?

"...without any abridgement..."

Goes for any day of the week, too, but I was trying to relate things to our "Blue Laws."

It wasn't well done, though, I admit.

(There are times I wish the First Amendment's "abridged" had been used in 2a instead of "infringed."  "Abridged" seems to have worked better in rejuvenating and clarifying  A1 than "infringed" has in A2.)

Have you seen her lately?  One of the pictures at IMDB has her looking like a walking scarecrow.  I don't know how old she was in that picture, but - - -.  [barf]

Oh, I know. Some of our great beauties age well, some not.  I was shocked to see some elder pictures of Brigitte Bardot, e.g.

On the other hand, some still look pretty good... Joey Heatherton, Eve Arden...

It's the water... hand cream... lotsa lovin'... no lovin'.. who knows.

Something's always bugged me about Eve Arden is a lot of the publicity crap says she's  around 5'7", yet by comparison with household objects, other actors, if she's ACTUALLY less than 5'11' or even six feet, I would be surprised. Brooke Shields is over six feet and they don't "smudge" that value in PR stuff...

How'd we get onto that anyhow...?

She was a cartoon.

Cartoons can be porn too.  Copy and paste this: ヘンタイ触手  into Google image search ;) ;)

Took a chance on that on behalf of other APSers who might have sensitive machines or locales.

Nothing really icky came up and the images did not really show much at a quick scan.

But as I mentioned, "porn" seems to be universal throughout geography and throughout time.  So therefore harmless porn is "normal" if you can divorce it from the "moral" controlling issues, which many people cannot do.  And if you can avoid over-using the  concept of "normalcy" to justify harm to others.

(I note the term "consenting adult" has been often used since the 1920s, and need not be stated any more in order to be an automatic qualification in discussions such as this.)

You either have safe search on by default, or are WAAAAAY more worldly than I had previously assumed, Terry.

^ Well, it must be the former, because I pasted your foreign-language " ヘンタイ触手 " you provided into the Chrome Browser and nothing really icky came up.

All you had to do was say "hentai" instead of that gobbledegook.  I haven't been "underage" for 5 decades !

And nothing too outlandish came up in DDG either.

Of course cartoons can be erotoporn...

Ernie Bushmiller's Aunt Fritzi can be pretty erotic, but rated "W" instead of "X."  Used to turn me on as a kid.

Then there's Al Capp's Wolf Girl and Stupefyin' Jones (Julie Newmar).  Sort of "W-and-a-half" rated.

I am told that without speaking a single line, that character started Ms. Newmar's career.

I actually spent way too long trying to find the uncensored original version of the Zone Ankha Dance to Camel By Camel yesterday but I DID finally find that sucker! (Straight up hentai with an Animal Crossing Cat Character) All because I tried to explain to the wife why her new ringtone was going to make some giggle and others LMAO (because they KNOW the actual source).

PG13 version:
