Until this I never knew 86 meant to kill someone. To me to 86 someone is to throw them out. Like the obnoxious drunk that grabs the waitress's T&A as they walk by, 86 da bum. It was always the establishment equivalent of a trespass without getting the cops involved.

That's what I understood as to usage, but I haven't lived in NY for decades.
"I've been 86ed from that bar for throwing up on the floor."
I suppose it could have morphed like "take care of somebody" has.
However, one of the "substrategies" of the Left is to amplify any "failing" or problem of the right, regardless of its importance or validity, as another "impact" in terms of public relations. No reason we can't use the same tactic, is there? It works just like gossip.
DIG, DIG, DIG.
POKE, POKE, POKE.
Even left jabs add up through ten rounds.
So poke, poke, poke, and dig, dig, dig at Comey.
