The verbal instructions required to get that thing to perform a fire mission are insane.  The battle would be over before you could coherently and effectively instruct that thing what to do.  Further refinement is necessary.   I'm sure our AI overlords are working on it.

I heard one person comment about ChatGPT lying and making up court cases and such.  They though the AI had a sarcastic sense of humor.  He thought for things that were more serious, the AI would do what you asked.  If the question was less serous or it was obvious someone was cheating or being lazy, the AI would screw with them by making stuff up or outright lying.
That would at least be a more human thing to do and kind of funny.

I have also had issues with Google Maps routing at times.  It has sometimes routed me along side streets for no reason.  I am not quite sure I am confident in self driving cars.

That has gotten worse ever since they started defaulting to "save the Earth" routes using routes that the AI thinks will save even 0.0001 gallons of gas. Though some of it seems to be lack of ground truthing as well. Even 10 years ago, I used to have it on even for routes I knew well, sometimes just to see how close it was to my own ground truthing. I recall when going to my parents, on the last leg it would tell me to turn on a parallel street to the one I always turned on. It was probably slightly shorter, but within a couple of years of fast growth, had like six traffic lights added, so it was way slower.

Controlling AI is starting to be a problem.
