At the time, I heard a report that an officer from another department showed up, tried to go in, and was detained by the officers already on the scene, who disarmed, cuffed, and stuffed him in the back of a squad car for a while. IF THIS STORY IS TRUE - note, I said IF - then the officers who detained him ought to be criminally charged with mass murder, as they were directly protecting the killer by acting as his security detail.
I haven't heard anything about this in quite a while, so it could be a false report . . . or it's being suppressed. I'd really like to know, one way or the other if there's any truth to this story.
