I don't disagree. But we both know the chances of that happening.

Is that confirmed now? That would make his attorney very happy, I think.

I can't post screenshots from my .gov computer, but at 2:16 that is clearly a Glock in her holster and at 3:57 that is clearly a subcompact Glock in his holster.

Glock is not known for their variance in pistol operating systems.

Agreed, which is why my fall back plan is to destroy, personally, cops that *expletive deleted*ck up and shoot people.  Honestly that's almost as hard, but it's at least in the realm of possible.

The Glock POS?

Yeah, I noticed that it was a Glock, as well. I didn't take note of what she was carrying, though.

I agree that basic safety training of handling pistols should be pretty simple.  Enforcing it in practice for people with little experience handling guns might be another matter.

I wonder if she had her finger in the trigger guard during training and nothing was said or it was normal.  Either that or she has problems functioning under stress during a confrontation.  The latter might be worse.

  • I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

I have gotten a few tickets for speeding while CCW over the yrs.
the local cops in northern NV now tell me "just don't touch it" and never try disarming me.
I now only speed in the early morning, 04:00 - 0:500 so it's been a long time since I got a ticket

What confrontation?

Uh... Black man with a gun?

Geesh, how obvious could that be?

Did I say the quiet part out loud again?

My word choice may not be the best.  IMO, this was more than just a traffic stop as they were pulling him out and disarming him.  Call it whatever you want.

The issue:  Can you put your training into practice correctly in the moment?  (I wonder if they even train to disarm other people.)  It appears she is not going to do things properly or make good decisions under stress.  It is similar to the cop that yelled out "taser, taser, taser" while drawing her side arm and shooting a driver.

But.......It *was* just a traffic stop.  They *chose* to pull him out of the car for no reason.  If there was a confrontation or added stress, the police caused it.

. . . They *chose* to pull him out of the car for no reason . . .
No reason? He was a black man with a gun!!

It didn't really matter that the first cop - the one who made contact with him through the passenger side window - informed the other cop that the driver WAS compliant, he was a "black man with a gun."

If he has competent counsel, all this (and more) will come up in court, and he'll soon be a WEALTHY black man with a gun.

Edited because I just had a thought: That motorist is LUCKY he didn't have a "Glock Switch" on his piece - he wouldn't have a leg left!

Trump won in 2016. And again in 2024. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.
