Holy crap! Maybe we talked about this sometime over the last 20 years, but I can't remember. This is amazing. Explosive decompression, pilot sucked out the front, but tackled by a flight attendant who held onto his ankles while the rest of him was outside the plane. One of the hard truths was that they were sure he was dead, but still holding onto him because they feared his body would be sucked into the engine and risk the aircraft. Miraculously, he survived.

I don't know if we discussed it here, but I remember reading about the incident. The pilot had a guardian angel, for sure.

There was also a story from 1991 about an A6 pilot that was partially ejected from his A6 and hung out in the slip stream until they trapped back on the carrier.
