You know the really interesting thing about this?

This isn't all Trump. He had four years to put together a really good team, likely some of the best people, the brightest people, the very best and the very brightest - you won't find them on any other team, like that other team that doesn't play fair, you know who I mean, and most of them are as pissed off as he is. And they're ready to get creative.

You need to sell it!  American syrup grown and harvested by Americans!
Like most made in America products, no one is willing to pay what it costs to make, and if I want to sell it anywhere but from my driveway I’d have to finish it in a commercial kitchen which adds more cost and time.

I give some away, but mostly just make it for my family.

ummmm he literally said why on Social Media.  You don't have to even listen to a network talking head.   Canada and Mexico have policies of border neglect (or worse) that is facilitating human and drug trafficking across our borders.  We would like that to stop.  https://x.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1885821495080825305

Also in the time it took me to scroll to find that link, Trudeau caved as well.  https://x.com/JustinTrudeau/status/1886529228193022429

But Reddit and shitlib tiktokers assured me the brave and righteous Canadians were going to teach the red state MAGATs a lesson by crippling the US economy

New tariffs and sanctions are great. This is a good start for developing something new. I know this first-hand, because I have been involved in international trade (import mainly) for many years.
It’s a bit of a pity for the Europeans, of course))) but this is their choice. But the Chinese and Turks are very happy now.

We haven't even started fixing the EU trade issues yet, that's coming later.

And I'll bet China isn't all that happy.  They got included in this as well.  They need to decided between keeping revenue flowing or continuing their destabilization operations in North America.  Panama also pulled back some of China's sweetheart deals in the Canal Zone.

Which is, I assume, how any successful presidential administration is made. Right? The GOP had a great opportunity to do that in 2017, with a new guy that didn't know what he was getting into. They could have steered him in certain directions and done great things. And some great things happened, but nothing like we could have had. Too many GOP wanted to keep their distance from the icky orange man.

Too many of them were happy being a minority in D.C. and occasionally complaining about things the Democrats were doing.  (And probably taking money under the table)

I think Opportunity is referring to his own country's relations with the EU and China/Turkey.  As Russia has been cut off from EU markets, they've cozied up to alternative trade partners.

That's right - thank you for the hint. And for my company, with such a forced replacement of suppliers, the only result was profit.
Yes, of course, I can purchase almost any product from EU or USA if my customer needs it, despite the tariffs, but over time this need is lost.

Makes me wonder how China is going to retaliate - they already gave us COVID, and the H5N1 bird flu was first identified in China.
Trump won in 2016. And again in 2024. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.

"British Columbia is huge!"

Yeah, and it has the population of Alabama. I'm sure we're all going to starve without their business.
