The 2028 Circus Preview

Of course you've heard they say Harris is the current front runner for the Ds in a 2028 run.
According to Newsweek IL Gov Pritzker  is considering running also

I think Hogg may not be a star much longer. I read that a bunch of dems are mad because days after he became the DNC vice chair, he started fundraising not for the DNC, but for himself.

Pritzker is horrible as a governor.
Trust fund baby from the Hyatt hotel family. His only accomplishment was reaching the age of 26 and getting the fortune.

"Harris/Hogg 2028"

That's appalling.
Relax, Hogg won't be 35 then, so he'd be ineligible for POTUS.
Trump won in 2016. And again in 2024. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.

A requirement written by slave owning old white men so it needs to be ignored to save democracy

If they are smart, it won't be any of them.  There is a great deal of time until then.  With Trump strangling some of the illicit funding and Democrats largely out of power, some of the existing names will drop out.  A lot of the older Democrats will end up with their names on Epstein and Diddy lists which will get out eventually if not leaked.  I expect a bit of a shakeup leaving room for new faces to come out into the open.
I would say it is time for a bit of a reformists role in the Democrat party, but I think it is too soon for that.  All their power base and funding sources are have been in support of the old status quo and they are close to getting back a majority in Congress.  I don't see anything changing unless they lose big in 2 years.  At that point, we will see.

Also, the Republicans have not been known as the Smart Party.  Just because Trump is in the leadership right now doesn't mean there aren't anti-Trumpers biding their time to get back in the driver's seat.  And some otherwise good Republicans will get just a bit too full of themselves.  I assume some self destruction will occur at some point.  Hopefully that is limited.

Newsome and Whitmer are major threats.

We could only be so lucky if they ran Harris again

I did hear that the Republican house voted in an amendment to a spending bill to remove taxes on overtime, tips, and maybe social security.  If they can get that passed, that could change the dynamic with voters going forward.

I just now saw "Crockett/AOC". I thought it comical that AOC was in the VP spot.

Would that be "Dumb and Dumber" or "Dumber and Dumb"?

I guess he has nothing better to do right now except see if someone is dumb enough to give him money for the next four years.

No, Pete won't run.  He doesn't want to leave his friends behind.
