And that is the losing side of the issue nationally.  It will hurt them at election time if the Republican is willing to take the ban side and deal with media/celebrity pressure.  I am sure some states my lean differently.

To make their "faithful" happy, they have to oppose anything that conservatives do, and support absolutely anything from the groomer side...
