Brave and Cloudfare Issues?
« on: March 08, 2025, 08:45:48 AM »
Is anyone else having issues with the Cloudfare "checking if you are a human" page while running Brave?

Starting a few days ago, pretty much every page that uses Cloudfare to do that "human verification" thing has been stuck in a loop for me. One example is Myfitnesspal.com. Usually it doesn't even ask me for verification, but a few days ago it started asking me even if I'm already on, and just going from one page on the site to another. Then after I check the "human" box, it starts spinning, then goes right back to asking me to check the box again. Endlessly. However when I leave the site then open it again, it takes me right there without the Cloudfare window.

Myfitnesspal is just the example I used. Several websites that use Cloudfare are doing this to me now. I checked using MS Edge, and no issues. I'm wondering if either Cloudfare or Brave changed something that is causing Brave issues, or if it's just my Brave.

Saw a couple of those yesterday in Firefox. Trying to remember where.

I should note that I'm using standard ad blocking and privacy on both Brave and Edge, recognizing that "standard" on Edge is much less restrictive.
