Quote
Officers found the man on foot just outside the Eisenhower Executive Office Building and about a block from the White House, the sources said. The officers confronted the man who pointed the gun at himself, ignored commands to drop the weapon and turned the gun in the direction of the Secret Service agents and officers, according to the law enforcement sources briefed on the incident. The officers then fired an unknown number of shots. An additional weapon, a rifle, was found in the car, according to the sources briefed.
Looks like there was a report of someone suicidal heading to D.C.  He matched the description and was confronted.  Condition unknown, but supposedly not killed.

Sounds like this may not amount to much.  I guess we will see if any other information comes out.

Also reports of two private planes near the Florida Trump place, got bounced by fighters to deter - no idea what else happened. No shots fired there.

They want more people to suicide-by-cop in the capitol? That's weird.

Took some googling but the Congressional baseball shooter was from Belleville which is apparently sometimes referred to by some as Bellevegas for reasons I didn't dig into.
What that has to to do with this recent incident I don't know.

Thanks, I thought it was me.  I admit to having problems with writers' mental leaps which require deeper research.  Even though I agree that I occasionally do it myself.  Although I have a declining information base, especially with pop-entertainment areas, I dislike having to read minds or google something word-by-word just to figure out what was meant

Sometimes I need a brain cane.

Bernie Sanders?

There is a Bellville, TX, but I just assume this was another Bellville.

And he was a big Sander supporter until he got himself removed from the gene pool.

Belleville is basically a suburb town of St. Louis, only over on the east side, meaning to get to work, they gotta drive past East St. Louis...
