Florida Man's Lunacy, do not order
« on: March 13, 2025, 03:53:48 PM »
Heard good things about the Florida Man's Lunacy Roasted Garlic Hot Sauce. Hopped on their web page and ordered. Received an order confirmation, but nothing else. No product for two weeks, no response to the emails requesting an order update. Crickets.

Actually, that isn't exactly true. I did receive one thing... spam mail.

Beginning the day after I ordered, I became inundated with spam emails from places I've never seen, never heard of. Completely unrelated to any interests, places, orders, or web I've visited. Several dozen a day. I would normally consider an uptick in spam a random thing, but this was too coincidental.

I poked around and it seems unfulfilled orders from them are a regular thing as of late. Fortunately, my credit card company reversed the charge. Quickly, too. Like the moment I hit "Submit" a message popped into my inbox that the request was complete and the charge reversed. Makes me wonder if they're getting a lot of similar requests and have begun systematically honoring them rather than going through any type of discovery.

Anyway, don't order from their web site.
