It's kinda gory, but overall, I liked the first episode... Lead is Kevin Bacon, and his character is a fellow targeted by Hell's HR people (perfectly done) to have to go out and run down Hell's escapees...

Wait - aren't all HR people from hell?

Best advice I ever got from Facebook Reels is HR is NEVER your friend.

Their job is to protect the company at all times.

I saw the 1st episode too - the basic premise strongly reminds me of the old TV series Brimstone.

Brimstone: Cop murders his wife's rapist and when later on he's killed in turn, he goes to hell. Devil makes him a deal - return a bunch of escaped hellions, and he gets a second chance.

Bondsman: Bail bondsman is killed and goes to hell. It looks like his "job" is to recapture hell's escapees. At this writing, still waiting on the backstory reveal.
Trump won in 2016. And again in 2024. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.

Sounds exactly like the Patient Advocate office at my VA hospital.

Amazon Prime Video.

I watched the first episode tonight.  Wasn't great, but worth watching so far in my opinion.  I'm going to get a few more episodes in before I make a decision about finishing the series.

I LOVED Brimstone!

Another one of the really good with a lot of potential shows that Fox *expletive deleted*ed up beyond all recognition, sucked dry, and then discarded.

When it comes to any show about heaven/hell/angels/demons, I'm mostly like a comic book fan watching a film/tv adaptation. I might try to enjoy it, but there are too many "well, actually" moments that keep getting in the way.

Four episodes in and I'm losing interest.  While I generally like the actors in the show, the writing is meh.  I doubt I'll go any further with it.
