Does Idaho try to nail you for a "use tax" on stuff you buy out of state but bring back to Idaho for use?

They mention it, but from what I can tell, for anything other than vehicles (Oregon car dealers automatically do the paperwork, as did the UTV dealer when I bought my UTV in OR), it's only minimally enforced. I don't know that I've ever heard of anyone reporting it around these parts. Farmers get a sales tax break for anything farm related. I forget the form number, but I've used it myself, so don't pay tax on implements, spray equipment, etc. No tax on my tractor either when I bought that.

I got 2k 147gr 9mm for $250 like two weeks ago.  Combined with what I had on hand, that should get me through till I go on orders in July.  I shudder to think what prices will be next Dec when I come back.

I will say that wasn't the *cheapest* 9mm I could find, but it was the cheapest 147gr US made 9mm I could find.  I've started putting my money where my mouth is and buying US made ammo to help those companies.

I have had a few issues with CCI Blazer before, mostly primers not going off, but also some out of spec rounds that won't chamber.  Nothing huge, but a couple per case. You should have no issues running through it in training.

Yes, I do.  Sorry for my unclear typing. It's probably a bad sign, but I just think of ammo prices in case amounts these days.

It's a good sign. I've been buying two cases at a time to get the discount from APS's favorite ammo supplier, SGAmmo.

The discrete packaging is the only thing I watch for with other ammo suppliers.  SGAmmo is good about that.  I have received a Winchester box with a shipping label slapped on from another outfit.

Bereli doesn't always have the best price, but they are usually worth checking.  I almost always price check with SGAmmo as they are consistently at the low end.

Well, as I noted, the Bereli price was slightly less than the SG price for the exact same thing.

Not that much, but certainly better than PSA's price, which was a bit higher, but which did not include free shipping. That would have been something like $20 additional.

About the only ammo I get from PSA anymore is the AAC 5.56 77gr OTM.  They still hit for shipping, but that ammo is good enough, and enough cheaper than other Mk262 substitutes to be worth it.

This is weird. I just logged into my banking app to give my daily looksee, and I see that my ammo charge has hit my card for $254 and some change.

But, I also see a refund for $252 and some change from... Seren's insurance provider.

Which doesn't make sense to me. They reimbursed me for her final medical bills, which was more than I expected to get, and they were going to reimburse me a prorated amount for her April insurance premium.

But that was only $166, so I was really only expecting a reimbursement of about $105.

So I'm not sure why I'm getting more than double that back from them. And I don't have an e-mail explaining the reimbursement, either.

But, my 1,000 rounds of 9mm ammo is ending up costing me... about $2.50 or so.
