Hogwash.  Particularly the scenes with little pink globs of brain matter with a single electrode inserted to communicate with the metal host.

Nice video of a runaway feedback loop, position limit malfunction, or vector/velocity miscalculation. Otherwise, meh.

I love AI for some applications.
I hate AI and see it as a threat in other ways.
Our local school district has been bombed with FOIA requests that seem to be AI generated to the point that even a small school district might have to hire a full time person to respond within the legal time frame of 5 business days. It becomes a burden or abusive.
I don’t worry much about attack of the robots.
What we have here is failure to communicate.

I'm holding out for an AI robot that gives a shave & a haircut.
7-11 was a part time job.

That's interesting... what was the subject area of the FOIA requests?

I'm thinking of politicians "scoring" / "counting" pro versus con letters (etc) on political issues awaiting their decisions... Sort of a new kind of "voter fraud?"

Maybe we can apply some kind of "Real ID" concepts to political letters and letters-to-the-editor.

They vary but a lot of them are demanding data in specified formats, comparing data on spreadsheets with monthly or annual or 10 year comparisons, some are staff salaries or curriculum cost breakdowns. Many of them are just reformatting information for vendors or resale.
We recently had a  self described “first amendment auditor” show up and video in public areas. Real obnoxious gangster prankster that tries to provoke a response so he can sue for civil rights violations. He posted the video on YT and some of his followers tied up administration with repeated phone calls and FOIA requests. Basically shut down entire admin for 2 days and resulting in expensive signage and changes to doors to control access.
Some are demands for electronic format. Some are paper that are never picked up. That way staff might spend hours on a request for nothing.
What we have here is failure to communicate.

Explanation I saw plausibly explained that the robot was programmed to balance and walk and that suspending it sent the sensors haywire trying to stand.

I'm so contrarian that I didn't respond to the thread.

Seems cogent.
