Portable Speaker System for IPod???

I'm looking for something to take to hunt camp this fall so batteries are a must and some decent volume.

I'm looking at the Altec Lansing stuff, I think the Roxy will just get broken on the first use.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The t-amps from Parts Express are pretty good. They'll work with a lot of different _real_ speakers.
