How will we pay for this?  Why the rich will pay for it silly.  They don't pay their fair share and the rich have an endless supply of money to tap with no effect on the economy, etc.   rolleyes

That's right!  Because we don't:
Employ housekeepers
Employ yard maintence
Hire employees
Use services such as to-your-door dry cleaners or grocery delivery
Throw parties
Spend more money on things we don't need

So, we are now gonna send every kid to about a semester and a half of college.  A semester and a half at TODAY's prices.

I'm sure the intent is to pay for (some of) in-state state college tuition, not private college tuition.

Does it matter that college costs are rising faster than the market?  The $5k will still turn into something, which is greater than nothing.

Ummmm......

Hate to tell you, but that is for in-state public tuition.

Fall bill for tuition, no housing ran me $3978 for 13 credits, plus about $900 in department and expansion fees.
