i  just watched the movie   i knew ingrid newkirk was a whack job. and this movie showcased it well. scary lady. the movie really shows what they are

You should see the Penn and Teller Bull$ episode on PETA.
It's eye opening.  I never knew that she was a diabetic and on insulin.

IT's really a shame when something that sounds like a good cause (reducing animal suffering) turns into a loonfest.

Temple Grandin is more what I have in mind, not Ingrid Newkirk.

I think PETA and similar organizations are more understandable if you use the cult/fanatical religious paradigm.
