I love this tune, hearsd it for the first time last night. I cant get it out of my head.
I'm lucky I don't drink, this tune would sounds like its perfect with some whiskey.

Too bad country stations won't ever play anythign good like that again.  We're stuck with Taylor Swift and all the American Idols......

If you like Hank III, I'd also suggest Shooter Jennings.

Actually, shooter and hank have seen a bit of play, though nothing like that Swift trollop...

What part of the country are you in Fjolnirsson?  Never heard Hank III on the regular radio, although he is on satellite radio every now and then.  Only Shooter song I've heard on regular radio is 4th of July, which is good, but definitely not near his best, just his most pop-soundy.

Strangely enough, I actually heard Hank 3 on the radio in CA, SF bay area. I think it was a renegade DJ, as I only heard it once, and never again. It's how I found out about him, though...
I hear them both from time to time, now that I'm living in Western Oregon. I was shellshocked when I moved here and found out the stores and restaurants play country music...

Actually, it doesn't suprise me that much.  It seemed to me, the few times I have been to Cali, that there is just such a huge music scene, that the non-mainstream stuff gets played a bit more.
