Cutest little mofos I ever did see. :)

We're keeping three and giving three away to a friend.
















They came in the mail yesterday, and Mrz Jamz picked them up on the way to drop our daughter off at Kindergarden.. so her whole class got to see them in the box.   

The kids asked, but they are NOT allowed to name them, other than maybe Chicken1, chicken2, and chicken3. :lol:

And I recommend that names do be given. Grilled, Fried, etc...

Wyandotes!  Supposed to be cold-hardy to survive the Maine winters, but I still have my doubts.  These won't get eaten, unless one turns out to be a rooster.  These wil be egg layers, until they succumb to predators, anyway.

Never make a pet out of something you can eat.  My dad learned that the hard way with his plastic pig.

I was watching that show iCarly, where they raised some chicks from eggs.
Their names were Yoko, Benedict, Omelet, Poachy, Wavos, and Shelly.
Poachy especially gave me a chuckle.

I was pretty unimpressed by the fried turkey I had. I think if more people were good at cooking it the traditional way there would be less demand for that.
