No, for them (anyone) to easily turn this into a Trumpian attack against god-fearing people they would be have to be leaving slices of white bread laying around, maybe up to a whole loaf if they really wanted to frighten the populace. ;)

I became prejudiced recently.  Anything that's wacko-kooko in the news lately, I automatically think "damn Democrats" first.

I know it's wrong, wrong, wrong, but I can't help it.

I'm not signing this one so nobody will know who posted it.

Some stereotypes are based on long experience.  :old:

Apparently if you don't actually used the word racist you can dance around it all you want......if you're lib

Now note this Snopes article on the matter.
They say it is false but then go on to confirm what was said was actually said.

It could all be BS from all sides, hard to tell anymore.

“What about Somali or Hispanic students, who might not eat sandwiches?” Gutierrez said, according to the Tribune. “Another way would be to say: ‘Americans eat peanut butter and jelly, do you have anything like that?’ Let them tell you. Maybe they eat torta. Or pita.”

A torta or pita [bread] is not "like" peanut butter or jelly. They would be the analogues for the bread in a PB&J sandwich. With a last name like Gutierrez, this payasa should know that.

This video is oddly relevant to this thread. Kinda. Pita, PB&J, and culinarily clueless furriners.

I like both?  I guess I just like peanut butter.  Crunchy is better for sandwiches.  However, aside from maybe some honey, I don't add anything else.

Creamy PB is better for saltine crackers, but fistful doesn't like that.

So if those people found mysterious peanut butter laying around, would they accuse someone of trying to kill people with peanut allergies?

RACIST!

It's okay, at least for the bread, it's bleached white bread. Think Michel Jackson.

He did a video a few days ago, first time he'd tried PBJ, and he used sourdough, and crunchy peanut butter. He didn't like the sammitch, and a lot of people were telling him that sourdough and crunchy PB were not the best way to make it.

As part of a training program known as “Courageous Conversations” that has been phased into Portland schools in recent years, the Tribune reports that staff members at Gutierrez’s school have been going through trainings, classroom observations and exercises, such as reading a news article and then talking about it from the perspective of “white privilege.”

Now that sounds racist to me.

I like peany bucker (I used to call it that just to PO my mother --even well into my High School days) packed into the trough of celery stalks.

Also, I like to put potato chips on a lot of sammiches and some other things.  That is, if there's no nice crunchy bacon around.

No scientific testing, but I think crunchy peany bucker is better in mouse traps.

I don't? Well, come to think of it, I guess you're right.

Unless you put the PB crackers in a bowl of ice cream. Game changer.

All you need for peanut butter is some honey and a spoon. Mix and eat, pretty basic.  :)

I might try that.  Can I leave bowls of it around on random peoples' doorsteps?

I'm surprised nobody's caught the mashed potatoes guy on security cameras.

Yuck!

Honey, good.  Peanut butter good as long as it's not sweet.  I usually make my own PB just to avoid any sugar.  (now if you add so much sugar you end up with Butterfingers, that's different)

Peanut butter is also good if you add creole seasoning!
