"best off-the-shelf pina colada mix"

You need:

1. Gin

2. Tonic

3. Lime

4. Ice

You do NOT need some candy-assed pansy coconut candy concoction, no matter how much you want to get your freak on with your lady friend.

Well, I'll have to back and look. A couple of times is better than one. ;)

How are you with Bell helicopters?

Great, as long as it's made with Coco Lopez!  :P

If it just takes a couple of adult Slurpee's to make ML's ladyfriend's clothes fall off, more power to him.

Also, it was a one hit wonder by Rupert Holmes, not Garth Brooks.    ;)

P.S.  You need a 9/16th's wrench to tighten the bolts of the tail rotor of a UH-60 Blackhawk.  Not sure what you need to swap out the tail rotor on AH-1,  but it's probably similar to what's used on the UH-1 and should be carried on your PLL.
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

That is the general idea.

Hendricks Gin and a good lime is some fine stuff.

Replace Gin with Vodka or White rum and I'd like it a lot more. I'm not a gin fan.

I like fruity drinks. (although I prefer strawberry daquiries. Coconut is ewwy)

A LOT of females like fruity drinks. Methinks ML (and the serious replys) are going to be more popular with the ladies, because they know how to ply the ladies with tasty beverages.

Smart men.

You'd probably like my strawberry daiquiri.

Daiquiri mix, white rum and frozen strawberries instead of ice. Add all to blender and blend until smooth.

I  could never develop a taste for gin. It always tasted like I was drinking a bad perfume. Scotch was a different matter. Put away too much of that.

Gin is nasty.  Tonic is nasty.  You mix them together with a slash of lemon juice and something magic happens.  (yeah, I know it's supposed to be lime; sue me)

Hendricks, try replacing the lime wedge with a slice of cucumber in drinks that are pretty simple and the gin really shines through. It pairs very will with Hendricks.

I'm a gin fan. The problem with gin is that bad gin is, well, really *expletive deleted*ing bad. At least cheap whiskey still tastes like whiskey. Bad gin just tastes like *expletive deleted*ing turpentine.

Pour Gin over ice, cut up some limes, and discovered that I'm out of tonic water.   Sent Robert to the new grocery store on the corner to get a bottle.

Ginger ale makes for a gin buck, which makes for a lovely substitute if you have any on hand.

At one time lemon was also commonly used (and is apparently making a comeback in the UK), as were some other citrus juices.

I've actually had a gin & tonic with an orange wedge. It was... decent. Not great, but decent.

In a gin & tonic I can actually tolerate some pretty marginal gins. For general G&Ts I'm OK with Gilbey's or even Segrams. If I'm feeling really flush I'll go Boodles or Bombay.

I wonder how Sprite would work. I have a small bottle of Sprite. I'll have to give that a try.

It is hotter than 3 shades of hell in DC today, with humidity to match.

In other words, it's perfect G&T weather. I'm heading to the store after work and I'm getting what I need.

If there is no fresh citrus at hand, consider adding orange bitters.

Got THAT right, re: DC-area weather. Heat indexes expected to top 100F today, perhaps up to 105F.

Neither the wife nor I care for gin, so no gin-and-tonics - but frozen margaritas sound really good. Got some cheap but decent margarita mix, got tequila, got ice cubes, got a blender. As long as the kids are with their father today the way they're supposed to be...  >:D
