A slut, a whore, and a gold digger...all...FINE, fine choices but, with some difficulty, I have to choose River.

[I don't think I really need to explain this, but it's just that she's being lauded for being "tough" and for saying stuff like "I won't let any man take what's mine."  Like Mal, I have a certain amount of respect for that, and for her gun collection.   smiley

But the fact is, she's a prostitute and/or madam.  Do I really need to draw you a diagram of the irony there?  If so, we could start another thread.

No diagram needed since I didnt watch Firefly/Serenity for feminist icons or irony.
I just liked certain characters, or certain aspects of characters, as part of enjoying the show.
Nandi was a madam&so? I still like her character. I was just momentarily curious about your feminist icon statement, that's all.

Seek2, you need an eye exam.  Jewel is definitely the stand-out in that picture.

I left Zoe out on purpose...she's taken. Cheesy
I was also being sarcastic about the fine choices part, for the record...
