I've not read the article but the headline is enough.  From Texas Monthly magazine: Why Did Greg Abbott Pardon a Racist Murderer?

I only did a quick scan of that but at least they do mention unlike some in the MSM that he did have an AK-47.
And of course they bring up Rittenhouse.

I want to know how the hell he was convicted in the first place.

Did the DA cherry pick the jury to try to get the political result he wanted?

If I recall the trial was in Austin, so not hard to do that.....

Did you not know of Saboton?  I thought for sure we had mentioned them around here before.

They do amazing True Military History Metal.  And their produced videos are pretty solid.

Attack of the Dead Men, Bismark, Night Witches, 82nd All the Way, and Uprising

There is also a Saboton History podcast youtube channel. https://www.youtube.com/@SabatonHistory

While we're on the subject, A good cover of 82nd All the Way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XhepwtKR5lg

As penance I'm going on a hunger strike and chant From The River To the Sea until 17:00 or until my food heats up in the microwave, whichever comes first.
But hey! I'm got it at 50% power so it going to take while, like maybe 8 minutes or so, but I'm starving until then!

Your post is nothing more than a propogandist assault on impoverished natives everywhere.

How dare he paint them in a negative light by highlighting their actions.

King of Poland not Prussia

Interesting.  You're right, but other references I've seen call them Prussian.

Cool.  Still learning more.   =)

And thus I learned of the 1683 Siege of Vienna, and Prussian king Jans Sobieski leading his hussars across Poland and over a mountain to save Vienna after a 60 day siege by the Ottoman Empire.

I've had "Then The Winged Hussars Arrive" get stuck in my head once in awhile for years now after first hearing that.
Remember reading somewhere Tolkien had the arrival of the Polish Winged Hussars at Vienna in mind when he wrote the charge of the Rohirrim in the book
