Should I be able to buy an M60 over the counter?

Bogie:
Well, a semi-auto M60 is available, with nothing more required than a gullible customer, a fat bank account, and a phone call to Warshington...

A full-auto needs a fatter bank account, six months, and sign-offs... I've never heard of age restrictions on NFA - are there?

Oh, and you'll need to send it to one of the specialists and have it reworked for reliability, if it hasn't already.

Of course.  No questions asked, other than "Cash or credit?"

You should also be able to buy one on the AlGoreInternet and have it shipped anywhere you like.  Or buy one at Wal-Mart.  Or better yet, Sam's Club, since you will need to bulk buy your ammo.

You'll find that most people here on APS are pretty much pro-freedom.

Pfft, my wrist is 8.25.

There goes that thread.

For some reason, I assumed he meant a fire-cracker.

Is an M60 considered a heavy weapon?  Well, I'm sure it's heavy after a few miles of road march, but other than that...

We didn't call it "The Pig" for nothing.
