I just learned something new. Maine splits their electoral votes. Looks like Clinton is getting some and Trump is getting one or two.

I would find it very interesting if CA did that. I've always thought that we've had too many electoral votes in the control of the coast. In Maine they are apparently split by congressional district and by popular vote. If they did that in CA, based on populations and locations, the conservative candidate could probably lock in a good 20 votes out of the 55.

All states should be that way. It's hardly fair that a candidate can get 48 percent of the votes in a state, but get zero electoral votes.

Of course, I'm also of the opinion that the electoral college is obsolete and should be abolished. There were valid reasons for it 240 years ago. I don't see much justification for it today.

Podesta just basically said there will be no concession tonight. He just told the crowd at the Javitz Center to go home and wait till morning to hear more.

Didn't the Clinton camp attack Trump for saying he wouldn't rule out contesting the results?

Looking at Fox this morning at 0600, Trump is ahead by less than 100k votes in the popular vote.
This may be another occasion where the Electoral College and the popular vote is way out of sync.
