What was the woman thinking?  And why on earth would she not have viewed the DVD before sending it home?  I thought all teachers were total freaks about "proofreading" stuff.  Even though I am a teacher, I have to say I would have been highly upset had I popped this little gem into my DVD player...6 secs or 6 mins.  Wouldn't have mattered to me.  And it doesn make one wonder...if you are "perverted(?)" enough to film yourself having sex, what other odd habits do you have that might seep into your classroom or your interactions with students?  (Perverted is a bit harsh, but you know what I mean....)

IMHO that's a stretch.  What she does with her personal time is her own business.  She screwed up and put the clip on the DVD, probably making her ineffective as a teacher.

I could give you the steel-toed rubber boots I have in my locker at my job. I don't wear them because they hurt my feet too much. Would they do? They weigh quite a bit .

I'm firmly in the I don't want my 5th grader watching my teacher's home porn clip, and she should have done a better job proofing the DVD, and am glad she was punished camp.

Is anybody else amused that Microbalrog of the Libertarian Lecture Circuit is trying to argue that being fired is a punishment, or an injustice?  Funny, that.  Here I always thought that getting fired is just something that happens when you make a major screw-up that embarrasses your employer and causes customers to complain.
