The battle that broke the siege of Vienna happened September 12, 1683...
That wasn't the first siege of Vienna by the Ottomans, either. They had been trying to take Vienna for almost 200 years.
Now, the question is... HAD the Ottomans managed to take Vienna, only to later have it restored to a newly constituted Austria, would De Selby be in here bitching about how the Austrians are forcing the Ottoman Muslims out of their "homeland"?
