Been snowing pretty good here in Harpers Ferry today.  I tried to get to work but turned back after bout 3 miles of back roads.  Lots of drifts.  My F-150 with close to 800lbs of wood in the bed did its best but I didn't want to risk dodging the other drivers.  Turned back and am working remotely today.  Wind is blowing pretty good here.  I'd say we have about 6" of fresh snow on top of the 30" we got last weekend.

Snowing sideways.  This picture doesn't do the conditions any justice but was taken 10 minutes ago.

OH YEAH ?!?!?!

Well, we had magnitude 3.8 EARTHQUAKE last night !!!!  http://neic.usgs.gov/neis/last_event_states/states_illinois.html

I'm waiting for the 82nd Airborne to come by and give me food and water.   :P

Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.

Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

BTW HERE, Snowmageddon quickly became no-snowmageddon. There ain't more'n 2" out there. A tad less than the 8-12 they were calling for.  ;/

You got lucku then. I just shovelled off 12" deep of fresh powder from the driveway. Unfortunately the driveway is 200 ft long.  Association guy hasnt even hit the roads yet and the neighbor with the front loader hasn't left the house. I may not make it to work tomorrow either.

Unfortunately, it would go unused 2yrs out of 3 at best.

Chris

Mine is way to big for what I have to snowblow but I inherited from my parents when they moved from Minot, ND to Tulsa, OK.

I used to have a 100' and 50' foot driveway on 300' wide corner lot, it was great for that, but my little 25'x25' driveway is a little small, so I do a few of my neighbors also.
