Snowmageddon, the pictoral
« on: February 07, 2010, 02:48:39 PM »
Unless you've had your head buried in the snow this weekend, you know that the East coast has gotten the Mother of All Snowstorms.  CasaDeJockey has gotten about 21", and our town got about 23".  Its deep, fluffy, wet and cold.  Here's a few pics of the carnage:

the drive way, pearl was light enough to stay on top of the ice layer in the middle for the most part.

i didn't manage to get a picture of her when she would break through the ice layer and go sprawling in snow up to the back of her shoulders. but that particular burst of racing did end up with her landing face first in a snowbank.  ;/

I didn't take many pics this time, but here's a few from the Allen household. :)

Our new puppy playing in the snow Friday night.  It was only 6" or so at this point:

View from my front door about mid-morning after the first shoveling of the day (and 3rd since snowfall began):

Miley's bathroom facilities.  This was late morning, by the end, there was another 6" on top of that.  For her, it's like standing at the base of a glacier.

BTW, Miley, a 2lb Havanese puppys, loves the snow.  She romps around in it, runs around, digs, etc.  Crazy dog. :D

We've had several broken trees in the area, including one at the end of our cul-de-sac that blocked my neighbor's driveway.  Not knowing if her son (who would be around the next day with the snowblower) had a chainsaw, I cut it back past the edge of her driveway with my bow saw.  Ax-Men, here I come!

When I was out shoveling at 12pm yesterday, I heard several branches break in the surrounding area.  I think I heard one every 10 minutes for an hour.  I went inside just before the tree fell over.

Nah, it's I haven't had an original thought this week!. He's the one who caused all this global warming. Everybody knows that. Science, you know, dude?

Nope, since he didn't get a treaty a Copenhagen that would have instantly stopped Globual Woerming, it is Obama's fault.

You know....I miss the days when you'd slip a few bikini-honey shots amongst the pics you posted of the boat just for the entertainment of us in the peanut gallery....you think you could do one or two in your next batch of posted pics?....  ;)

Somebody has been modifying my posts. I originally wrote: "Nah, it's Bush's fault" in place of the above quote.

This is the second time this has happened today. If it happens again, I'm going to have to take action.

dude, its not like they make theremal bikinis that hot women can just walk around the snow in.
and if they did, i highly doubt they would be walking around in J's neighborhood.

We've already taken action.  Your schtick is old.  If you put in your handle and It's Bush 's fault....3 pages + of results.  Get a new schitck.

No he doesn't.  To win the Internetz, those would have to have been real models, not mannequins.
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.
