It is not unusual for a personal tragedy to cause someone to become mentally imbalanced.

I can understand that she is feeling a lot of pain, and I feel bad for her that she is losing her grip.

We ought not to make fun of such people. It seems wrong somehow. Like kicking a puppy.

I really do not remember any other such people given the national exposure she has gotten. Once she became a creature of Code Pink, Move On.org and the koolaid drinking left and started spouting off like a moonbat-bot she became fair game.

BTW, is she still on her "hunger strike"?

You're right that we should focus our anger on those who have used her. BUT: She is still culpable. She isn't Terry Schiavo, who was truly used by everyone with a soapbox. Cindy Sheehan has embraced her breakdown, because as hate-filled and venomous as she appears, no matter how ugly and degrading her acts, it is still less painful than letting Patrick go, and beginning to heal. In her mind, as long as she rails on, her son lives, or at least, did not die in vain.

When her usefulness to the Left ends, and she is dropped like yesterday's garbage-then you will see pain. Like the schizophrenic who avoids the doctors but chooses to self-medicate with street drugs, she will hit a bottom so wretched that even her current handlers will feel sorry for her-though of course they'll blame someone else for her misery (the dealers are "only giving the People what they want", right?).

I think you may be right. She could be substituting rage for grief, and pointing that rage at a convenient target given her by the far left. She will become less and less useful as she becomes more and more pitiable, until no one wants to see her anymore. Then they will drop her like a rock, she will be all alone after having had all that attention for some period of time. Just about anything could happen then. I hope she can work through it when the attention goes away and she is all alone.

Yup, and Ms. Schiavo had no impairment... er... that's not right. To all those who spout "murder!" every time life support is withdrawn I postulate that without life support she'd have died anyways. "God's Plan" was apparently originally for her to die, and we interfered. Now, offing someone who's totally disabled but functional, that's euthanasia. Withdrawing a feeding tube for someone who's permanently tuber-ized to the point they can't swallow? That's noninterference.

Yes, I see picking on Cindy Sheehan in the same light as, oh, kicking a puppy. Mind you this puppy soiled all over the living room carpet, rolled in it, then lifted leg for a little relief on everyone's socks, but you don't kick it. If I understand Cindy Sheehan properly, she was a radical left wing moonbat before her son lost his life. She chose to then use his death to front her left wing notions. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he was buried and had no headstone because she apparently did not care enough for him to have one placed. The nation provides free markers for veterans and she didn't even do that until her non action in this regard became public knowledge.

OK, mfree. It would simplify matters if there was any way of knowing what Terry Schiavo would have wanted. Her husband's assertion that she wanted to die is suspicious and not properly substantiated.
